Why did you choose the University of Pittsburgh?

I chose the University of Pittsburgh because of the breadth and expertise of its faculty. Its affiliation to a large academic medical center provides opportunities to conduct translational research as well as continuing basic research. During my interview weekend, I was impressed by the collaborative environment and the value placed on it.
