Why did you choose the University of Pittsburgh?

I chose the University of Pittsburgh for its depth in tumor immunology and for how closely basic research is connected to clinical care across the city. That bridge between mechanistic discovery and patient impact, along with the collaborative culture among students, labs, and clinical resources here, is exactly the setting I was looking for, and I am excited to join this community.
